Life of pai

A week has passed us by and here we are on the train again... this time it's (the first of our overnight trains!) overnight to Bangkok... we've settled ourselves into our bunks for the night... all nice and homely. Shame about the distinct smell of wee :(

So, I'm all snuggled up and catching up on the blog! Hurrah!

Our week has been spent in glorious Pai (pronounced 'pie') with Maddy and Simon! We took a minibus from Chiang Mai to join them...
...and uber organised Maddy had sorted us out a super cute bungalow to stay in by the river...
...fabulous no?! All for £6 a night. Genius!

We had A LOT of catching up to do as we hadn't seen each other since December! So the days rolled into one as we all ate, drank, relaxed, strolled, pampered, elephant trekked, bamboo rafted, caved, lounged in waterfalls & hot springs, ate some more, drank some more, relaxed some more... oh and of course, not forgetting the cricket (yawn)! It's a tough life...

I was also so thrilled to have news from home...
...Boots has been enjoying the summer scorcher back in London :)

Meow! Miss you Boots!

...stay tuned for more Pai shaped adventures soon....

  1. While you're away I hope someone has been enjoying the loganberries? I have made loganberry and gooseberry jam, and we have had freshly picked loganberreis for breakfast and dinner!
